Accommodation Facilities
 
Wool Cottage is ideal for couples or single family occupancy and will sleep four - two people in one double bedroom and two people in bunk beds in the 2nd bedroom. On request, Wool Cottage can sleep up to two more people - on the double sofa bed in the living room, meaning the house could then sleep six.
 
Whether you want to cook a special meal at home or simply have 'bed and breakfast' so that you can enjoy Winchester's more than 30 restaurants.
 
The City is well known for its gastronomic delights and we will be glad to recommend our favourites. 

 

Easy walking distance to the Cathedral and High Street. Some of Winchester’s best pubs and restaurants literally a stone’s throw away.

Down Stairs
On entering the property you will immediately appreciate the spacious open plan living/dining room and kitchen areas.
 
 
A TV and DVD player along with Freeview are located in the living room along with a stereo/CD player and we have a stock of CDs and DVD’s available for your enjoyment. We also have a library of novels and local information for your use.
 
 
There is a pay-as-you-go telephone for making outgoing calls and mobile broadband payas you go for accessing the internet from your laptop.
 
The kitchen has a large glass window and door giving lots of natural daylight and a lovely feeling of openness throughout the day.
 
 
Facilities include a dishwasher, fridge and freezer, washer/dryer and a microwave.
 
 
 
Our dining area will comfortably seat six people, there is also a breakfast bar for two, both are adjacent to the modern fully equipped kitchen which has every possible convenience.
 
 
 
Upstairs
A straight staircase leads upstairs to the bedrooms and bathroom.
 
 
Bedroom 1 has a king size double which convets to twin beds when required. There is also a second colour TV/DVD/Freeview player for those late night movies snuggled up in bed!
 
 
 
Bedroom 2 has full size bunk beds.
 
Linens in the rental price and if your stay is for longer than one week, we offer a complimentary linen change.
 
Bathroom has a toilet, hand-basin, and a bath with a thermostatically controlled shower over - there is plenty of hot water.
 
Towels are included in the price.
Outside
The secluded, enclosed courtyard garden leading off the kitchen at the rear.
 
 
A patio set seating 6 along with  parasol - to enjoy those long summer evenings.
 
 
 
A gas BBQ is available for guest use in season.
